Where to Buy Amaretti Cookies
Buy them directly from this page — baked in small batches at our Petaluma, California bakery and shipped nationwide, free over $50. Because we ship direct, yours arrive days out of the oven rather than the months-old imported tins on a grocery shelf.
Do you ship amaretti cookies nationwide?
Yes, to all 50 states. Most West Coast orders arrive in two to three business days and East Coast orders in three to five. Amaretti travel particularly well — the almond flour base keeps them soft without refrigeration.
Can I find amaretti cookies near me?
Traditional Italian amaretti are hard to find outside specialty Italian markets, and most supermarket versions are hard, imported, and made with artificial almond flavoring rather than real almonds. Ordering direct is usually the only way to get soft, freshly baked amaretti made with whole almonds.
What's the difference between soft and crunchy amaretti?
Both are traditional. Crunchy amaretti (amaretti secchi) are the version most commonly exported and sold in tins. Ours are amaretti morbidi — the soft, chewy Northern Italian style, with a delicate crackled crust and a tender almond center. If you've only had the hard imported kind, these will taste like a different cookie entirely.
How long do they stay fresh?
Sealed, they keep for several weeks at room temperature. Once opened, store them in an airtight container and enjoy within about two weeks for the best texture.
When will my order ship?
Orders ship the next business day from our bakery in Petaluma, California. Orders placed after 12pm on Friday ship the following Monday. We are closed on holidays.
How long will it take to receive my order?
We ship via USPS Ground Advantage and UPS Ground. Delivery typically takes 1 to 5 business days depending on your location. Transit times are estimates and not guaranteed — once your package is with the carrier, tracking updates will keep you informed.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes — free shipping on all orders over $50 after discounts. If a coupon brings your total below $50, consider adding another item to qualify.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship within the United States only.
How do I track my order?
Once your order ships you'll receive an email with your tracking number. Click the tracking number to follow your shipment in real time until it arrives. If you can't find that email, please check your spam or promotions folder first.
Can I freeze your products?
Freezing is fine for our biscotti and cookies, though texture may change slightly after thawing — especially for more delicate cookies. Since our products have a 3+ month shelf life, freezing is rarely necessary.
If you choose to freeze:
- Pack airtight — keep in the original container or transfer to a freezer bag with excess air pressed out
- Thaw at room temperature in the closed container to prevent condensation
- Optional: crisp up in a 300°F oven for 3–5 minutes, then cool before enjoying
- We do not recommend refrigeration as moisture can affect texture
What is the best way to store biscotti and cookies?
Keep them in their original container with the lid fully closed, stored in a cool dark place such as a pantry or cupboard. Avoid heat, humidity, and direct sunlight.
Where do I find the nutrition facts?
Nutrition labels are on each product page, in the product photos or near the description.
Do your gift cards expire?
No. True Delicious gift cards never expire. They are delivered by email — you can send one straight to the recipient with a personal message — and any remaining balance stays on the card.
